Why did Raj Thackeray attend the screening of 'Pk'?

Priyanka Chopra to act in Hollywood!

Priyanka Chopra goes international yet again. After her singing stint back there Piggy Chops is all set to try her luck at acting.

Priyanka has signed a deal with a leading English network to play a lead role in an American fiction show. Priyanka has been roped in by the network that is known for hit TV series such as 'Greys Anatomy'and 'Homeland'.

Priyanka confirmed the same by tweeting about it.

AbRam's day out with daddy SRK!

Shah Rukh Khan is currently busy shooting his next film Fan with director Maneesh Sharma. Recently the Badshah was spotted shooting outside his palace likw bungalow for a scene in the film. Joining SRK during the shoot was Khan junior AbRam who stepped out with his nanny to have a lot at his dad shooting. The toddler looked totally engraved in the shooting, enjoying the presence of his daddy around him. Take a look at these adorable pictures from the shoot.

SRK struggles to enter Mannat!!

The Badshah Khan Shah Rukh is no longer allowed to enter his own mansion Mannat. There are security guards stationed outside pushing SRK away. While this may seem a scene to the spectator the reality is that this is a scene out of Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film Fan, wherebhe plays the perfect fanboy with shabby hair & clothes. Director Maneesh Sharma's Fan, SRK will be seen a ardent fan of the superstar that he himself is.  The shooting for this has commenced & a recent shoot took place right outside Mannat. Abhishek Bachchan & Aishwarya Rai Bachchan seem like the perfect couple. One the son of a legendary superstar, other a former Miss World, the match seems made in heaven. While their fans may think they know it all, here are a few lesser known facts about this glamorous couple:

1. In spite of working together on a number of films like Dhai Akshar Prem Ke, Kuch Na Kaho & Urmao Jao, it wasn't love at first sight fof them. During the shooting of those films the duo were in a relationship with other people.

2. Aishwarya Rai did a special item no in Abhishek Bachchan's film 'Bunty Aur Babli'. This number also featured Big B. It was only after this item number that Abhi-Ash were linked up as a couple.

3. It was in 2005, during thw filming of Guru that the two fell in love.

4. While shooting for Guru, Abhishek was also shooting for KJo's Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. It was during a New York schedule of the film that, standing alone on his hotel balcony Abhishek dearly missed Aishwarya & wished to have her by his side. It was then that he realised he wantd to marry Ash.

5. During the New York premier of Guru in Jan 2007, Abhi took Ash to the very same Hotel balcony & proposed to her for marriage. What was unique was that, instead of gifting the Miss World a solitaire or gold ring, Abhi proposed her with the ring he made her wear in the film Guru.

Lesser known facts about DDLJ

12 December, 2014. This is the day, that the most memorable iconic love saga 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge' will complete 1000 weeks at the Box Office. While this epic tale of love still manages to bring out the romantic in you, we bring to you a few lesser known facts about the King of romance & the film that made him rule our hearts like ever before.

1. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge released on October 19, 1995, just a few weeks before the King Khan’s 30th birthday. Released 19 years ago, the film was a huge hit with the audiences, and has been running at the Maratha Mandir theatre in Mumbai for all this while.

2. The character of Raj was first offered to Saif Ali Khan. It was only after he rejected that the role went to Shah Rukh Khan, establishing the undisputed King of Romance. 

3. The songs of DDLJ went on to become a blockbuster hit. Then debutant director Aditya Chopra had rejected 24 versus of the song Mere Kwaaboon Mein Jo Aaye written by Anand Bakshi, before he finally gave his nod. The song was picturized on Kajol.

4. Raj agar ye ladki tujhse pyaar karti hai toh voh paltegi zaroor. Very few people know that among all the romantic scenes that SRK & Kajol have shot together, this one is by far their favourite. 

5. Aditya Chopra named SRK's character Raj as a tribute to the great flimmaker Raj Kapoor,  while the title Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge was suggested by Anupam Kher's wife Kirron Kher.

6. During the shoot of the song Ruk Jaa O Dil Deewane, Kajol wasn't informed that SRK would be dropping her in the end. The reaction in the movie was her original reaction.

Bollywood's fairytale couple Riteish & Genelia Deshmukh gave birth to a baby boy. The little bundle of joy, has been welcomed into the Deshmukh family by one & all. The proud parents Ritesh and Genelia were recently spotted at Salman Khan’s sister Arpita's wedding reception. Genelia was seen flaunting her baby bump like any other proud mom to be.
Genelia, who had been rushed to the hospital is recuperating after the delivery, while proud papa Riteish is looking after the two.
Here's wishing the lovely parents the best of everything for their sweet little bundle of joy.
